Welcome to the Department of Physiology at Govt Medical College Baramulla. Since our establishment in 2019, we've embarked on a journey filled with challenges and growth. Despite our modest beginnings and defined resources, we are deeply committed to our mission of providing quality education and research in physiology. Our faculty always strive to impart knowledge, nurturing our students to become compassionate and competent healthcare professionals. Their unwavering support is the cornerstone of our department's success. Besides MBBS students, the department is also mentoring Nursing and Paramedical students. In our pursuit of excellence, we understand the importance of continuous improvement. Recognizing that there is always room for advancement, we approach our journey with determination and perseverance. Our focus is on quietly and diligently working towards our goals, knowing that true success lies in the progress we make every day. Our department has newly established practical labs and demonstration rooms, which are constantly upgraded to incorporate the latest equipment and technology. Our Instructional approaches and tools are exceptionally innovative, aligning with the latest MCI guidelines. We employ problem-based learning (PBL), a dynamic method that fosters active student engagement and collaboration, ensuring an exceptional academic experience. Through the installation of cutting-edge tools and innovative teaching methods, we ensure that our students receive the best possible education and are well-prepared for their future careers in healthcare. In order to give the newer prospective of teaching and learning experience our department has started competitive based learning tools like poster competitions/seminar competitions among students under the guidance of experienced mentors, that thrive new enthusiasm among the students to learn and understand the subject As we navigate the ever-changing landscape of medical education, we remain committed to staying true to our values and principles.
