Provision of healthcare services in the field of Dermatology, Venereology and Leprosy at Government Medical College Baramulla, in a coordinated manner as a department, formally started in January 2019, immediately after establishment of Government run medical College at Baramulla in northern part of Jammu & Kashmir. Since its inception, we have been progressing slowly and steadily to improve various dimensions of healthcare services and academic activities. Thanks to the constant support and patronage of our institution administration, we have been able to get necessary equipment/ facilities, including radiofrequency surgery and phototherapy units, enabling us to provide better services to patients visiting us from across the region. We are committed to provide quality healthcare services to patients visiting us from far and wide, without any sort of discrimination or otherwise. At the same time, we are determined to provide favorable academic and research atmosphere to MBBS, paramedical and postgraduate students of our institution. We try utmost to work as a team to uphold the sanctity and honour of medical profession. We pledge to work with honesty, dedication, and use our full capability in coordination with other departments, to take this institution to new heights, to provide unbiased, un-discriminated, quality patient care services and academic/ research facilities.
