Welcome to the Department of Anatomy Government Medical College Baramulla, Our mission is to provide a rigorous and comprehensive foundation in the study of human anatomy, essential for the practice of medicine. Our curriculum is designed to integrate cutting-edge research with practical application, ensuring that students acquire both the theoretical knowledge and hands-on skills necessary for their medical careers. Our team of experienced faculty members is dedicated to fostering an engaging and supportive learning environment. Our state-of-the-art facilities and resources, including advanced dissection labs and interactive learning tools, support an immersive educational experience. Department of Anantomy at present is the top upcoming department in Government medical College Baramulla with the facilities provided to the students: Dissection hall with six cadavers for students as a part of their education, sixty (60) microscopes for studying histology practicals, Museum with a wide collection of specimen, original skeletons and well maintained departmental library accessible to staff as well as to students for studying and research work. Outlook:- Department of Anatomy in coming time will have a Comparative Anatomy Lab where our team is in the process of collecting viscera and other parts of other species for comparison purposes.
